About IconAbout Dr. Rajiv Dhunna

Dr. Rajiv Dhunna is a critical care physician and clinical leader with more than two decades of experience across Intensive care, Anaesthesiology, and hospital operations. As Director of the Department of Critical Care at Livasa Hospital, Mohali, he has led the unit since its inception in 2008 — growing it from a 10-bed ICU into a 40-bed tertiary critical care service and one of the region's most advanced. He today leads a multidisciplinary team of 20 intensivists and nearly 100 clinical staff delivering round-the-clock care to the most critically ill patients.

A holder of the European Diploma in Intensive Care (EDIC), Dr. Rajiv serves as Programme Director for both the DNB and DrNB Critical Care training programmes, shaping the next generation of intensivists and operating-room leaders. His clinical philosophy pairs uncompromising bedside standards with a macro environment that is an amalgamation of clinical excellence, leadership, and process design.

His vision now stands extended to the role of artificial intelligence in critical care: moving the ICU from reactive to proactive, from intuition to data-driven, maintaining patient centricity. Dr. Rajiv remains committed to advancing critical care as both a clinician and a builder of the leaders who will carry it forward.
